Everybody, meet Koko!
We’ve been looking for a new pet to adopt since we moved into the new place. Since our neighbors also gently reminded us that dogs would keep the thieves away, it just gives us one more valid reason to adopt a pet dog
We went to the petshop after work today to take a look at our “potential” pet dog. I wasn’t sure if we were going to get it, you know, in case he doesn’t look as cute as he did in the one and only blurry photo the pet shop posted online.
But guess what? He’s actually a lot cuter in real life! It was a tough choice since his “roommate” was a Golden Retriever x Labrador puppy – it was super duper beautiful and cute. But we chose the Beagle instead because a medium-sized dog would be more practical for us. Plus his sad puppy face is simply irresistible. Awww…
I’m sure this new addition in our home will give us more joy, laughter and love. Now I gotta start preparing myself for puppy training lessons!

ahem`
Thanks!!!
Did you use the crate method? What worked for you guys?
Right now Coco’s eliminating on the newspapers in the cage, which is separated from where he sleeps and plays. But we’re trying to get him to eliminate outdoors by bringing him out after meals & playtime but he doesn’t seem to know what he’s supposed to do
But he’s doing the right thing by eliminating in the cage because we don’t want him to eliminate at his sleeping/playing area.
Right now I’m thinking of taking the cage outside and putting him in there after mealtime & playtime to see if he’ll eliminate there. Don’t know if it’ll work or not but let’s hope so!!!
